Forensics is a public speaking competition that showcases high school students in a multitude of different categories ranging from “Public Address” to “Interpretation.” The IA Phoenix Forensics team travels to between three and five invitationals per year, all throughout Michigan, in hopes of qualifying for the regional and state competitions in the spring.
The IA Forensics Team travelled to two back-to-back tournaments in the beginning of March.
On March 3, 2018, the team travelled to Avondale High School to compete in the Ninjatational.
The Phoenix forensicators that broke to finals were:

On March 10, 2018, select members of the team competed in the Novice tournament in Novi, Michigan. Two brand new members of the team broke to finals for the first time this season.

The Phoenix Forensics Team will be travelling to Walled Lake Western High School on March 17 for their last tournament of the season before Regionals and States. We wish our forensics family best of luck at the next invitational and will report back at Regionals!
