Ringggg! The bell rings at the International Academy. This is the third month that students at the IA have been walking down the halls and attending all their classes. A lot has happened in these 3 months. Between summer coming to an end, Olympics, Halloween, and Charity Ball, students at the IA have been busy bees.
Samantha Elaine (’20) “I love IA and the people here. Everyone has welcomed me!” – Loves biology class and taking a foreign language since it’s her first year – Involved in Gay Straight Whatever Alliance (GSWA), which she encourages everyone to come and support the club!
Grishanth Manoharan (’20) “I joined Model UN! It’s fun and gives me something to do in my free time!”
Adriana Doria (’19) “The classes have been easier [in terms of] understanding the material. Since I’ve been through freshman year, I know how to study, and also what to expect.”
Abhinav Ankem (’19) “I’ve been doing many clubs here that are beneficial to my learning, like robotics and MUN, and a bunch of other fun stuff!”
Kaitlyn Barr (’18) “It’s been crazy and super stressful, and a lot of the time, [I’m only] getting the IA eight hours of sleep.” – Favorite IB classes: HL Math and Economics- they’re very challenging, but there are concrete methods for getting through each class, and you can get them done!
Devin Lamoureux (’18) “My favorite subject is history. I find it quite interesting, and a lot of it revolves around European history and since I lived in Europe, I kind of have some prior knowledge. I also loves GLC, since it’s with my best friend Gauthier Daridon.”
Joseph Aronoff (’17) “I’m most excited for getting into college. I applied to the US Naval Academy, University of Virginia, and University of Michigan. My first choice is the Naval Academy.”
